That's funny, I kind of think of you when I think about that. It seems you took the best of your parent's influence and built yourself to be awesome. No one would ever know what a weirdo you are (just kidding :)

I know about the "Wow, they eat vegetables" I mean, the kid hears you. Of course they eat veggies. One of Maddy's favorite foods is salad and EVERY time she eats it in "mixed company" she gets a reaction. I don't think people realize that pointing it out can be negative. If I were a kid, my next question would be "What's wrong with salad?"

As long as everyone's happy, all is well. I know when we first started, it was hard to let go of the idea that there was a "decent" time to sleep. Since then, my older ones (who were more the "victims" of harsh bedtime rules) have really tested their limits with their sleep habits and really learned to listen to their bodies. Hopefully the younger ones won't have to "relearn" how to do that.

Thank you, Melissa. I hope you & your girls have fun. Where we live, my best friend has 4 daughters, so when we get together there are ten girls playing, it's always so much fun. Thank you so much for the note :)

Great blog. I homeschool my 2 young daughters (age 6 and 4) and will be homeschooling my 9 year old daughter next year. It's great to find another mom who keeps her girls at home. Seems like most homeschooling families have mostly or all boys so it's a bit harder to relate.
