This is to organize all of my Girl Scout Resources.  I was a troop leader from 2004 through
2007.  I was also our Service Unit Event Coordinator.  I started with a  Daisy troop of 8 girls,
and then had Brownies, and then a combination Daisy-Brownie-Junior mega-troop.  I ended
as a co-leader of a Junior troop and stopped to move to another town.  My kids want me to do
it again, I probably will in the 2009-2010 school year.  In the meantime, enjoy the articles and
things that are saved here.
I plan to upload our troop song book, our planning documents,
our troop record-keeping forms and more.
The Girl Scouts of the United States of America is a member of the Western Hemisphere
Region of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.  WAGGGS has 5 regions,
and the Western Hemisphere region has 36 member organizations.  Each Year on Thinking
Day, Girl Guides and Girl Scouts all over the world celebrate the bond of sisterhood.
I also wrote an article about other scouting
programs
to use as an alternative to Girl Scouts,
if you disagree with their principles, look ugly in
green, or think the whole cookie thing is crazy.
