I think the announcer is pretty goofy, “where does fashion matter to you?” and “Is it neat or is it weird?” and I want a hand-crank blender! And what about “social consequences” I thought that was funny- authentic young people who know what they want in a mate, what a concept- how is that a consequence?
The family’s website (in case you didn’t read it on the side of their car, is Path to Freedom (which forwards to UrbanHomestead.org) . I urge you to go check it out. They do much more than just selling farm implements, like the announcer says, they have TONS of resources for modern urban homesteaders.
Also- I think $30k a year, when you’re not paying for food, is plenty for a family of 4 adults. I’ll bet they feel like they’re kings. When you’re not tied into fashion and stupid material possessions that cost far more than they need to- what’s to buy? I wish we lived in a world with more people like that.
